WeTransfer is the simplest way to send your files around the world. Today, 40 million active users from all over the world transfer one billion files every month. Founded in 2009, our team is based in Amsterdam and Los Angeles.
Our platform makes heavy use of AWS services such as EC2, S3, CloudFront, and RDS. We use a couple of core tools to manage and scale the platform to our growing needs, we would like you to help us with that. Terraform takes care of setting up the infrastructure across different environments and regions. Ansible allows us to easily configure the machines just the way we like it and provides documentation of our setup at the same time. Consul connects the dots and makes sure that services can be discovered.
The current deployment procedure for new releases is pretty ad-hoc. We could use your help to implement tooling and workflows to enable developers to deploy their own code at any time!
In the platform team you'll be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure. Together with the product teams you will work on processes and tools to get code into production. You will help make our systems more scalable, more efficient, and easier to manage. You respond to incidents and improve alerting where needed.

Above all else we value open communication and good teamwork to achieve a shared vision. We are looking for proactivity in spotting problem areas and proposing ideas for improvements. Ideally you have a couple of years hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, continuous integration, and the design of systems for high availability and fault tolerance. Don’t worry if your experience is limited, we’re looking for enthusiastic junior platform engineers as well.
