Our Marketing team, split between Amsterdam and LA, introduces WeTransfer to new people, and builds trust with our current users. We need a PR manager to help us tell our stories and take us to the next level. Someone who is creative, pro-active and enthusiastic. A skilled writer with a killer network.
You'll be responsible for leading the PR strategy and output on the marketing/content projects, in alignment with national and global communications objectives. With a primary focus on WeTransfer’s creative projects, events and partnerships, the PR Manager works closely with their fellow marketing and editorial specialists (music, photography, brand) to construct compelling stories that reach our target audiences via all appropriate media channels, including social.
You will work on a range of different projects; from launching partnerships with artists like Kamasi Washington, Ryan McGinley and Moby, to promoting documentaries and hosting local press events or attending conferences.
You will have a proven track record of delivering national and local media coverage and a network of lifestyle and culture journalists in the US. We want you to come up with new social media initiatives and creative ideas for community building. This role reports into the Director of Communications in the Amsterdam HQ.
