The Project Manager, Marketing Activation position offers an opportunity to spearhead multiple initiatives per year that directly impact company growth.

This individual will lead cross-functional projects that leverage multiple internal and third-party stakeholders, helping to shape WeTransfer’s music and university programming in the US. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, on and offline projects that incorporate events, content, partnerships, and integrated campaigns to deliver success.

The role

  • Scope and plan 4-8 projects per year in close collaboration with internal stakeholders, helping shape the timeline, deliverables, budgets, and targets for each respectively
  • Lead a group of cross functional stakeholders incorporating events, content, pr, partnerships, product, and more into cohesive campaigns that drive WeTransfer’s objectives in music and education
  • Hire and manage 3rd parties as needed to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Coordinate third party contributors, talent, and ambassadors for each project to fortify our relationships, maximize engagement and deliver value to our partners
  • Deliver an integrated campaign for each respective project that communicates a cohesive narrative that can be amplified in press, on WeTransfer, and across social platforms
  • Coordinate all production details for events inclusive of venues, local relations and event-day production
  • Coordinate production details for internal and 3rd party content teams inclusive of locations, permits, and talent coordination
  • Create and execute internal communications plans for each respective project that inspire and motivate internal teams
  • Collaborate with partner office in Amsterdam to integrate projects and milestones into broader company roadmaps
  • Oversee timeline, contracts and budgets for each respective project to deliver results, on time, on budget, and with all appropriate rights 

Skills and requirements:

  • 5-8 years in a senior role coordinating cross functional teams to deliver complex projects on and offline, with a focus in music and/or collegiate marketing
  • Expert in event production, partner management, project coordination (timeline, budgeting, permits, contracts), integrated marketing and content delivery
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and communications
  • A relationship-driven approach to project management with an ability to inspire, motivate, and keep stakeholders engaged
  • Experience hiring and managing third party production partners, with coordination of remote teams a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail with an ability to see the bigger picture
  • An appreciation for best-in-class execution and operational efficiency
  • A well-organized, self starter that’s comfortable leading initiatives without hands-on management
  • A positive, flexible attitude
