WeTransfer has shown rapid, viral growth over the last 4 years and in 2015, Highland Capital invested $25 million in WeTransfer to accelerate growth in the US, Europe and beyond. We have doubled the number of staff over the last 12 months and now employ around 75 people in our HQ in Amsterdam and have recently built a new team in Los Angeles.
The Plus business has been identified as a key growth driver for WeTransfer as the business scales globally. Getting additional resourcing, and getting product and marketing focus.
The Plus team is tasked with delivering that step-change growth trajectory and in particular with creating loyal customers, being a major source of insights into how WeTransfer should develop its product offering and communication plans and building a significant recurring revenue stream.
Given this ambition WeTransfer has decided to put more resources and focus towards this business. The first new role to be added to the existing team of three analysts will be this role as we look to add more SAAS market experience to the team.
The purpose of the role is make Plus the extremely desirable upgrade that all regular WeTransfer users want, and that scores a strong NPS score leading to sustained subscriptions.
In the short term the responsibilities are to reach the activity and renewal goals for our SAAS product, based on your internal and external analysis, using changes to our proposition, price and communication and over the medium term to provide the insights (user type, product evolution, marketing communication etc) that support the delivery of the target growth trajectory.
Key Tasks & Outcomes
You will be focused on analyzing our performance, and comparing it to market and internal benchmarks.
Based on these, you will be initiating the development of propositions and product upgrades and / or initiating recruitment, retention or win back campaigns that are sustainable and profitable.
You will help to build a continuous learning and improvement environment and as part of that undertake rigorous evaluation of the results, leading to new iterations.
You will develop strong relationships with key teams across WeTransfer and in particular with the Design, Customer Support and Tech teams so that they become enthusiastic partners and supporters in delivering our ambitious growth plans.
You will be reporting To the Chief Subscriptions Officer who is part of the executive leadership team reporting into the CEO.
You will be collaborating with the Analysts in the Plus (Subscription Product) team, and you will need to develop productive and positive relationships with key internal teams such as tech and support, to help get the data needed for the analysis, and with design and tech to create the propositions or support and marketing to create campaigns. While these teams are (mainly) in Amsterdam, which is where the role is located, WeTransfer has ambitious international expansion plans, particularly in the US, so you will need to be able to build strong relationships with teams working in different time zones.

We are looking for someone with experience in SAAS subscription management, that can add a market perspective to our team. We want you to be very analytical as core strength. You will need to be open minded, and a good communicator to succeed. We love people who can kick start things themselves, and are also reflective enough to see when they need others.
You will need to have 2 - 5 years of experience in a job analysing SAAS business that sells online, and formulating actions based on that. If you have 5 years of experience in SAAS business that would be even better. You will need to have finished University, probably in a product, economics or math direction.
You need to have built up enough professional skills to work independently, but we don’t expect you to manage a team.
You need to love slicing and dicing data, and visualising it. We’d love to hear your favorite tools for it. You need to like the energy and change of a scale up company.
Strongly analytical: you need to love slicing and dicing data, visualising it and have the ability to communicate complex ideas in ways teams with less SAAS expertise can understand
